The weekender bag
A long weekend coming up, a last-minute getaway: a family house in the countryside, a hotel by the sea, a friend's apartment in another city. Wherever you go, one bag follows you everywhere: on the train, on the terrace, at the Saturday morning market. It has to be relaxed, easy to carry, the kind you grab on your way out without a second thought.

The bag that follows you all weekend
A weekend is lived on the move. You leave early, lunch outdoors, wander, come home late. The bag at your side has to keep up without ever weighing you down: it is the one that stays on your shoulder from the moment you leave until the moment you return.
A good weekender bag is, above all, relaxed. It sits on your shoulder without a thought, drops casually onto a café chair, and looks just as right with jeans as with joggers. And yet it is the bag that lifts the whole outfit: a designer piece, not just another tote. It keeps the essentials within reach, and it has effortless style, because you carry it everywhere, from the station platform to the hotel lobby and on every shopping spree in between. On a weekend, nobody overthinks it. Neither does the bag.
The Balagan II, our weekender bag
The Balagan II was made for days like these: a relaxed bag you grab on your way out and forget on your shoulder, but a designer bag all the same, designed and made in Paris, that gives character to the simplest outfit. Its 45 × 40 cm of printed lycra falls like a large silk square, and its soft silhouette keeps all its lightness. Inside, a bamboo terry lining protects your things and appears when you turn the bag inside out: it is reversible, and you choose to wear it with or without fringe.
In its bandana version, it becomes the perfect getaway companion. The black bandana Balagan II goes with everything, the khaki has a taste of the countryside, the plum warms up an autumn outfit, and the blue and pink tie-dye versions already feel like a holiday.
What to carry for a weekend away
The rule is simple: travel light. Here is the list:
- A notebook, for the ideas that come on the road.
- A glasses case.
- A tablet or a book for the journey.
- A large wallet.
- A matching scarf, for the evening breeze or the chill of the train.
Everything finds its place, and the Balagan II keeps its unique drape and effortless style from departure to return.
Smaller: the Bandana bag
For those who prefer a more compact size, our Bandana bag takes the bandana into printed cotton, 30 × 30 × 9 cm, in its own colourways, lined with terry. It carries your phone, your sunglasses and enough for a coffee on a terrace. In black, burgundy or navy tie-dye, it is the Balagan II's little sibling, just as much at ease on a weekend away.
A weekender bag with your initials
Because a bag you carry everywhere always ends up looking like the woman who carries it, the Balagan II can be signed. Up to three initials are embroidered inside, on the top band just above the pocket: a discreet signature you discover when you open it. The embroidery is done in our atelier in Paris.
Your questions
What makes a good weekender bag for women?
A relaxed, supple bag that you can carry on your shoulder all day without thinking about it, and that works with everything from jeans to joggers. Our Balagan II measures 45 × 40 cm: a generous size with a soft, light silhouette.
What should I carry in my bag for a weekend away?
The essentials and nothing more: a notebook, a glasses case, a tablet or a book for the journey, a large wallet and a scarf.
Can I have my initials embroidered on my weekender bag?
Yes. On the Balagan II, up to three initials are embroidered inside the bag, on the top band just above the pocket: a discreet signature you discover when you open it. The embroidery is done in our atelier in Paris.
How do I care for a printed lycra bag?
Gentle hand washing only, never in the machine, to preserve the shape of the bag and the quality of the chain. Let it dry flat, in the open air.
